Associate Spotlight – Israeli Society Barometer, Center for Jewish Impact

October 11 2026

As Israel approaches a period of political transition, the latest Israeli Society Barometer prepared by Center for Jewish Impact explores how Israelis view the country’s future, from economic and security concerns to social divisions and the prospects for greater cohesion. The findings present a complex picture: while concerns about economic pressures, security and divisions remain, many Israelis continue to believe in the possibility of a more cohesive society. At the same time, confidence in coexistence between some communities—particularly Jewish and Arab citizens and religious and secular groups—remains more limited. The Barometer also examines how Israel’s international standing affects Israelis personally and their perspectives on Israel’s relationship with Jewish communities around the world. Together, the findings highlight both the challenges facing Israeli society and the continued belief in the possibility of a shared future.
