CONVERSATIONS ON JEWISH WELFARE

Budapest- Hungary
June 22nd - 24th 2014

By the year 2025 the number of social welfare clients in all of the countries is believed to become subject to substantial growth.
To cope with this, more inclusive community programming and the need of introducing principles of preventive care, life-long learning processes, should be explored.

“With an ageing population, caring for the elderly is a very important issue and many of our organisations find themselves isolated.

This program was part of the ongoing Social Welfare Network created by the ECJC JDC Social Welfare committee, which is composed by an array of Welfare services and organisations from all across Europe.

The aim is to offer a platform to discuss and share experiences and best practices among Jewish organisations across Europe.
