ECJC Leadership Lab: Fundraising 101 – Building Sustainable Resources for Community Impact
We continued the ECJC Leadership Lab series with “Fundraising 101,” which took place on 17 June 2026, bringing together more than 50 participants from ECJC member communities and organizations across Europe. Responding directly to members’ requests for practical fundraising support, the workshop focused on strengthening fundraising capacity, deepening donor engagement, and building long-term sustainability for Jewish communities. We were honored to welcome Mark D. Medin, Executive Vice President for Financial Resource Development at UJA-Federation of New York, as our featured speaker. Drawing on more than three decades of experience in the Jewish and nonprofit sectors, Mark shared practical tools and insights on cultivating meaningful donor relationships, developing effective fundraising strategies, and creating a sustainable culture of philanthropy. The interactive session combined expert guidance with peer exchange, allowing participants to discuss challenges, share experiences, and explore new approaches to resource development. The Fundraising Series is supported by Paley Ornstein Nonprofit Consulting, and we look forward to continuing to bring practical expertise and learning opportunities to ECJC member communities across Europe.
Stay tuned for upcoming workshops and new opportunities to learn, connect, and grow together.
