The ECJC - JDC Social Welfare Committee organised a 3 days Mission to St Petersburg, Russia to have the chance to visit the different programmes from the Welfare organisations, enabling participants to see special programmes caring for Shoah Survivors and including visits to several innovative programmes working with Special Needs children and families.

 

It was a unique and very enriching opportunity to visit their services and its achievements to get inspired.

 

We used the opportunity to re-launch the ECJC / JDC Social Welfare initiative regarding services for children with special needs and families by strengthening the network of Professionals in the field of Jewish Social Welfare.

 

The aim was to increase the level of learning experiences and best practices sharing among Jewish organisations across Europe.
