New Associate – OlamAid
We are thrilled to welcome OlamAid as our new associate.
OlamAid was founded on the belief that people in crisis need rapid, effective, and culturally sensitive support. In 2016, they launched their first program for intercultural mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS). As an organization with a Jewish background and a multicultural outlook, OlamAid has focused from the start on meeting the diverse needs of vulnerable communities. Today, OlamAid provides a wide range of tailored support programs. Guided by international humanitarian principles, they deliver emergency relief and rehabilitation, addressing psychosocial and physical needs throughout all stages of a crisis. Their approach links immediate assistance with long-term recovery, helping communities rebuild resilience and self-sufficiency.
Over the years, OlamAid has implemented more than 20 national and international projects supporting minorities and vulnerable groups affected by war, displacement, and natural disasters – often in partnership with local Jewish communities. As an independent, non-political organization, they place local knowledge and participation at the center of their work. OlamAid’s interdisciplinary and multicultural team combines Jewish humanitarian values with locally grounded practice.
OlamAid recognizes the skills and strength within affected communities and actively includes their members in their work.
