New Partnerships: HIAS Europe

HIAS Europe is the European headquarters of HIAS, the global Jewish humanitarian organisation that stands for a world where displaced people find safety, opportunity, and welcome. Originally founded by Jews to help fellow Jews escape persecution – from pogroms to World War II to the war in Ukraine – HIAS now works in the name of the global Jewish community as a humanitarian organisation serving displaced people of all backgrounds. In addition to our support for worldwide humanitarian operations, HIAS Europe supports European Jewish communities in their efforts to welcome and integrate refugees and advocates for the EU to pursue policies that promote welcome, safety, and opportunity for people fleeing violence and persecution around the globe.
