ECJC Series – Jewish Learning with ANU

October 20 2026

  • Have you felt the need to defend your Jewish identity?
  • Have recent events changed the way you talked about being Jewish or the stories you chose to share?
  • Have you wondered which parts of your Jewish story to share, with whom, and how?

On October 14, 2026, the European Council of Jewish Communities (ECJC), in collaboration with ANU – Museum of the Jewish People, hosted an interactive online workshop exploring how we could preserve, reflect on, and share our Jewish stories in the aftermath of October 7th.

Through a self-exploration activity, participants reflected on their Jewish identities and personal experiences and explored storytelling as a meaningful and practical educational tool. The workshop introduced an activity that participants could bring directly into their communities and adapt to different formal and informal Jewish educational settings. It was designed for participants aged 14–94.
