Volunteers are not simply an additional workforce — they are one of the foundations of vibrant Jewish community life. Effective volunteer engagement strengthens participation, belonging, leadership and organisational capacity, allowing professionals to focus on their expertise while volunteers extend the community’s reach.

Join approximately 30 volunteer managers, executive directors and community leaders from across Europe for an intensive, hands-on ECJC workshop hosted by Jewish Care in London. Following the strong interest generated by Jewish Care’s presentation at the recent ECJC Summit, this unique learning opportunity will explore practical approaches to recruiting, retaining, developing and recognising volunteers.

Participants will:

Learn directly from Jewish Care experts and see their approach in practice
Explore practical tools for recruitment, onboarding, supervision, training and recognition
Work through real-life cases and challenges
Exchange experiences and solutions with peers from across Europe
Develop an action plan to strengthen volunteer engagement in their own communities
