Welcome to Our New Member: KEDEM Jacobs JCC, Moldova

We are delighted to welcome KEDEM Jacobs JCC in Chișinău, Moldova as a new member of the ECJC network! For more than 20 years, KEDEM has been creating an open and welcoming space for people of all ages to connect, learn, grow and contribute to Jewish community life. Its work spans children and families, youth and young adults, Jewish education and culture, intergenerational programming, and volunteering and social action. Particularly notable is the KEDEM Volunteer Center (RVC) — the first Jewish volunteer center established in the FSU — which continues to connect people through meaningful community action. With more than 1,300 cultural and community events, 220 youth programs and 360 volunteer initiatives, reaching approximately 100,000 participants, KEDEM brings extensive experience in building vibrant, inclusive and engaged Jewish communities. We look forward to learning from KEDEM’s experience, strengthening connections with the Jewish community in Moldova, and creating new opportunities for collaboration across Europe.
