This series of 3 sessions aim to address the urgent challenges of aging well in a rapidly changing world and will open a broader conversation on how Jewish communities in Europe can better support older adults.

With rising antisemitism in Europe, elderly populations, especially Holocaust survivors and their children, face increased vulnerability and social isolation. This workshop offers tools for professionals to respond with empathy, insight, and readiness, providing meaningful opportunities for connection and reassurance. ๐๐๐-๐๐ฌ๐ก๐๐ฅ: JDC-Eshel is a non-governmental organization (NGO) with over 35 years of experience in planning and developing services for the elderly in Israel. Operating under the Joint Distribution Committee (JDC), it brings together stakeholders and professionals to plan and initiate pilot projects for older citizens. JDC-ESHEL has developed services in both community and institutional settings, contributing to manageable rates of nursing home care.
